So you wanna get involved? Here are some easy ways to help:

1. Volunteer. Send us your contact info if you would like some stickers or flyers to put in your neighborhood. Our email is info@flintacityof.com.

2. Donate. Plain black-and-white stickers cost $14 for every set of 125 ordered. Web hosting is ten bucks a month. It's a cheap operation, but more help means more effective marketing.

3. Take over. Make your own site. Design your own printed material and pass it out. Go to zazzle.com and make a custom tee that says "Flint is jawsome" or "Flint r0xx0rs my s0xx0rs." If people see it a million times, chances are it's going to sink in eventually.

4. Friend us on Myspace. You'll find us at www.myspace.com/flintacityof. We'll keep you updated with bulletins and provide you with inspirational images to set as your default pics.

5. Read The Secret or get acquainted with positive thinking in some other way. Write down all the things you love about Flint and then put the list on your bulletin board where you'll see it every day. Make a list of affirmations once a week--list everything good that happened to you that week, all the fun things you did, all the good people you talked to and hung out with. As Gandhi said, "We need to be the change we wish to see in the world."

6. Check out our links page and get involved with some other Flint organization, like the Creative Alliance or the Mott Park Neighborhood Association.
